LUXURY ACCOMMODATION TERMS
Effective Date: January 1, 2025
Welcome to Palavra Resort ("Resort," "we," "our," or "us"). These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our luxury resort facilities, services, and accommodations located at Reef Island, Manama, Kingdom of Bahrain. By making a reservation or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Reservations and Booking
1.1 Booking Confirmation
- All reservations are subject to availability and confirmation
- A valid credit card is required to guarantee your reservation
- Confirmation will be sent via email within 24 hours of booking
- Special requests are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed
1.2 Payment Terms
- Full payment is required upon booking for stays of 3 nights or less
- For longer stays, a 50% deposit is required with balance due upon arrival
- All rates are quoted in Bahraini Dinars (BHD) and include applicable taxes
- Additional charges for services will be billed separately
1.3 Rate Changes
Confirmed reservation rates will not change. However, rates for future bookings may be adjusted due to seasonal demand, special events, or other factors.
2. Cancellation and Modification Policy
2.1 Standard Cancellation
- 72 hours or more before arrival: Full refund minus processing fee
- 48-72 hours before arrival: 50% refund
- Less than 48 hours: No refund
- No-show: Full charge applies
2.2 Peak Season and Special Events
- During peak seasons and special events, stricter cancellation policies apply
- 7-day advance notice required for full refund
- Non-refundable rates may apply during high-demand periods
2.3 Modifications
Reservation modifications are subject to availability and may result in rate changes. Modifications must be made at least 48 hours before arrival.
3. Check-in and Check-out
3.1 Standard Times
- Check-in: 3:00 PM
- Check-out: 12:00 PM
- Early check-in and late check-out subject to availability
- Additional charges may apply for extended stays
3.2 Identification Requirements
- Valid government-issued photo identification required
- Passport required for international guests
- Credit card used for booking must be presented at check-in
4. Guest Conduct and Responsibilities
4.1 Behavioral Standards
- Guests must conduct themselves in a manner respectful to other guests and staff
- Excessive noise, disruptive behavior, or illegal activities are prohibited
- Smoking is only permitted in designated areas
- Pets are not permitted except registered service animals
4.2 Property Responsibility
- Guests are responsible for any damage to resort property
- Lost key cards incur a replacement fee
- Missing or damaged items will be charged to the guest account
- Maximum occupancy limits must be observed
4.3 Security and Safety
- Guests must comply with all safety and security procedures
- Resort reserves the right to search bags and belongings for security purposes
- Emergency evacuation procedures must be followed when announced
5. Resort Services and Amenities
5.1 Included Services
- WiFi internet access throughout the property
- Access to fitness center and pool facilities
- 24-hour front desk and concierge services
- Daily housekeeping service
5.2 Additional Services
- Spa services, dining, and recreational activities available for additional fees
- Laundry and dry cleaning services
- Airport transfer and transportation services
- Business center and meeting room facilities
5.3 Service Availability
While we strive to maintain all services, some amenities may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, weather, or other circumstances beyond our control. No compensation will be provided for temporary service interruptions.
6. Liability and Insurance
6.1 Limited Liability
- Resort liability is limited to the total amount paid for accommodation
- We are not liable for personal injury, loss, or damage to personal property
- Guests participate in activities at their own risk
- Resort is not responsible for acts of third parties or force majeure events
6.2 Guest Insurance
We strongly recommend guests obtain comprehensive travel insurance covering medical expenses, trip cancellation, and personal belongings.
6.3 Valuables
The resort provides in-room safes for valuables. We are not responsible for items not secured in provided safe deposit facilities.
7. Privacy and Data Protection
Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy for information on how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By using our services, you consent to our data practices as described in our Privacy Policy.
8. Force Majeure
Neither party shall be liable for any failure or delay in performance due to circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, war, terrorism, government actions, pandemics, or other force majeure events.
9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Bahrain. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your stay shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bahrain.
10. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on our website and take effect immediately. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of modified Terms.
11. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

By making a reservation or using our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Palavra Resort regarding your use of our services.
